The Mystics belong to the Sisterhood of Seers, also known as the 19 Maidens of Avalon. These beings of Fate and Prophecy reside at the Well of Fate and help Avalon in maintaining world order. They use the Well to see into the Weaving of Fates to help guide humanity and the eternals to a better path.
But the Mystics are bound to the powers above. And if they were to stray, it could mean there are dark days ahead…
